Osmo intensive deep repair mask

"Specially formulated for over stressed, heat traumatized and chemically abused hair. this mask helps restore moisture and elasticity leaving hair feeling silky smooth and manageable."

This retails at just €3.69 in salon services for a 100ml tub this is surprisingly great!
I set out looking for a reasonably priced mask to use at least once a week as my ends have been bleached and are extremely dry. I must admit i was not expecting much from this but was in fact delighted with the results. All hair dressers know that elasticity cannot be restored in the hair as the hair outside our scalp is just dead fibers. One elasticity is gone its gone and hair has to grow out, but I've definitely noticed a huge difference in my hair from using this the past three weeks. Its far smoother less frizzy and actually has a healthy shine which it never had before! It smalls great and does not cause product build up, which is something I'm prone to having such fine hair.

This smells great and really does moisturize the hair very well. I have used masks three times the price of this with the same results. I will definitely continue to purchase and use this every week!
For a hair mask this price and quality you cannot go wrong!

Revlon uniqOne Coconut hair treatment

Revlon professionals UniqOne Coconut hair treatment spray claims to have ten real benefits which include

1: Repair for dry damaged hair
2: Shine and frizz control
3: Heat protection
4: Silkiness and smoothness
5: Colour protection with Uva/Uvb filters
6: Easier brushing and ironing
7: Detangling
8: Long lasting hair style
9: Split end protection
10: Adds body

Lots of people tend to be weary of products which contain alcohol as they think it dries out the hair. Uniqone contains Cetearyl Alcohol Which is known as a "fatty or oily" alcohol and does in fact help to condition the hair due to its PH level. It also helps the hair cuticle lie flat which is what creates smooth shiny hair.

I have tried so many different conditioning and detangling sprays in the past and absolutely nothing has come close to this. This has become my holy grail of hair care since I've got it.
Having very fine hair it tangles like crazy! Not to mention how dry and chemically damaged it has become in the last few years from colouring, pre-lightening and general over processing. Trying to get a comb through my hair when wet is a serious challenge. UniqOne however has completely solved this. Combing my wet hair is now a breeze! This really does do exactly what it says on the bottle and now i cannot imagine not having a bottle in my possession.

The spray it self is a thick consistency so i spray 3-4 pumps onto my hand and rub it throughout my hair. 3-4 pumps is enough for my whole head. I find it leaves my hair tangle free, unbelievably smooth and not at all weighed down! Salon quality hair at home. Not to mention it smells absolutely beautiful!
This retails at €15.50 in salon services and is worth every penny. I cannot wait to stock up on this and to try the original UniqOne spray.

Overall i would definitely give this a 10/10  and i am hard to impress when it comes to hair care!

Rimmel London Lasting Finish Nude Liquid Foundation

The newest addition to Rimmels liquid foundation range. Rimmel claims this is a medium coverage foundation that feels hydrating and moisturising. Light weight formula blends instantly into the skin creating a nude, poreless effect. Sweat, heat, humidity and transfer proof for up to 25 hours.

This comes in a 30ml glass bottle with a pump and is available in eight shades.
I purchased both 100 Ivory and 400 Natural Beige as Boots currently have any two Rimmel products for €12. This usually retails at €8.99. The consistency of this is perfect as it is not too thick.
Rimmels description of this foundation is spot on! I was looking for an everyday foundation with medium coverage as unfortunately I don't have good skin at all. I have oily/combination skin that gets very dry at times with large pores and a lot of redness.

I started by applying Cliniques dramatically different moisturising gel for oily/combination skin. Blemishes and redness are visible.

After one application (Three pumps) of foundation blemishes and redness are barely noticeable.  Skin looks fresh and dewy. I applied using Real techniques stipple brush.100 Ivory is pink toned and quite similar to Macs studio fix fluid in NC20.

I applied Macs blot powder in medium with my Real techniques buffing brush to get rid of any shine.

I have to say I like this a lot more than I thought I would. The coverage is fantastic,  pores and redness disappeared, it feels light weight and applies very easily. The only problem is that I find this foundation oxidises quite quickly. Because of this I think I'll use it for summer when slightly tanned.
I would give this a 4 out of 5, losing out on one mark due to the oxidisation.

This months Boohoo buys

Boohoo has to be one of my top two on-line clothing stores and I have been purchasing from them for years with absolutely no problems. The customer service and quality of the clothing is absolutely fantabulous :) I have found lately they have been catering for all styles and sizes adding a Boohoo plus range which many on-line stores do not do!

Over the past month I have been collecting a few bits from their site for heading back to college in September. Both for everyday wear and going out.

Fist up are these Nancy daisy shorts
http://www.boohoo.com/europe/clothing/shorts/icat/casual-shorts/nancy-daisy-woven-flippy-short/invt/azz26328

These have to be my favourite shorts i own, these can be dressed up for a night out or dressed down for a casual but cute outfit.Being hight waisted they are very flattering. I plan to team them with a white crop top for a night out.

Francesca Floral Play suit
http://www.boohoo.com/playsuits/francesca-floral-print-playsuit/invt/azz28490

A black play suit is my safety net for a night out and this one really caught my eye. Although the bust was very low and a bit too revealing so I did have to put a few stitches in it but it's perfect now :)

Aisha Kimono
http://www.boohoo.com/kimonos/aisha-textured-fabric-kimono/invt/azz27064

This is the perfect kimono for me, the colour the length, it's just perfect!

Julia soft knit jumper
Unfortunately this is since out of stock as it was in the 70% off sale

I absolutely love this jumper its extremely warm while still flattering and is very versatile.
It goes with literally anything!

I also love the cable knit on this. I think the cable knit pattern makes it look more expensive.

Last but not least is this
Louise fur hood parka
This is also sold out now but there are some very similar parkas back in stock which I will link for you.

I got this for walking to and from college everyday and I couldn't be happier with it. Its warm, roomy and waterproof. I love the style and decided to go with the black as everyone was wearing khaki parkas this year.

The back drapes down and covers your butt from getting wet/cold.

Stylish, comfortable and practical!

Wet 'n' wild mega last lipstick reviews

I was first introduced to Wet 'n' wild make up this month when it came to a local pharmacy and I have to say I fell head over heels for their mega last lipsticks. There are so many reviews where people compare them to mac lipsticks and owning both brands myself I have to say I actually prefer Wet 'n' wilds lipsticks.

They are said to be long wearing, semi matt and hydrating. And that they are! These have the best colour pay off I have ever known in a lipstick while feeling really light and not at all drying which is a problem I find with most matt lipsticks.

My top five favourite shades include Just peachy, Bare it all, Rose-bud, Cherry bomb and Sugar plum fairy.

Unfortunately my camera didn't Pick up the shades too well.

Just Peachy: A blue toned peach. This comes off more pink than peach on me but it is perfect for summer.

Bare it all: A "my lips but better" shade. I find this does not wash out my skin like nudes tend to. Some times how ever i notice a slight orange tinge, slightly 80's I think!

Rose-bud: My all time favourite this is a rich blue toned pink which would suit every skin tone out there! its is just flawless in my eyes. It comes off quite like Macs Mehr on me just slightly more matt.

Cherry bomb: Most will know this as being a dupe to Macs famous Diva. A dark blood red perfect for an Autumn lip or a night out!

Sugar plum fairy: A Bright blue toned Pink known to be a dupe for Macs Rebel. This also helps to make your teeth look whiter. Again perfect for a night out or an autumn lip.

That's all for now but i plan on purchasing many more soon because these lipsticks are just the BOMB and a complete steal for just €2.99, what more could you possibly want? :)

Moisturiser of the month

I have never been much of a moisturiser person, purely just because I have never found anything that really worked for my pesky combination skin.
But now that I have found Cliniques Dramatically Different  Moisturising Lotion it has become part of my everyday routine.

This Moisturiser is part of a three step routine. Clinique claims that this is for very dry/dry skin, but I've found it works brilliantly for my skin which starts off dry in the morning but gets oily throughout the day. DDM however seems to regulate my skin and keeps the oil at bay.
It is extremely light weight while super efficient and leaves no residue on the skin.

This comes in at €24 for 50ml or €40 for 125ml in Boots. The price might be slightly higher than what some wpuld like to pay for an everyday moisturiser but a little does go a very long way and i have noticed a huge difference in my skin after using for just a few weeks.

I hope to try the DDM gel for combination to oily skin soon to see how it compares but the thought of a gel puts me off slightly as they can sometimes be quite heavy or sticky on combination skin.

Over all I would give this a 9/10, a mark lost due to the 50ml bottle not coming with a pump.

Recent purchases

As many of you fellow shoe lovers out there know, the bang on summer trend this year was minimal heels.
Zara was one of the biggest high street suppliers. Unfortunately i was late on the trend and completely missed out on a change to get my hands on those beauties. Heartbroken was not the word.

But alas! All is not lost due to my most recent purchases from Missguided this week.
I was absolutely over the moon when i saw that they had Brought out their version of the minimal (Clara) heels and me oh my they are B-E-A-U-TYYYY-FULLL :)

They come in at just €34.99 and are available in a wide range of colours and finishes.
I could not just pick one so i went for both a classic black and a white pair also.

Aren't they just perfect :)
I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were actually very comfy and extremely easy to walk in.
I plan on purchasing them in pink and grey pretty soon.

Is it strange that I also loved the boxes they came in? There's just something so slick about them.
I think its safe to say that i am an extremely happy girl right now and over all I give them an  honest 10/10 :)

Hope you found this interesting and i look forward to my next post :)
